HTC has confirmed through a tweet recently that Tablet HTC Flyer will receive the upgrade to Android 3.0 Honeycomb, although it was shown in the version with Android 2.3 on board. Ask if the new software will arrive on this terminal after its release, or if the tablet will start directly with Honeycomb.
This news gives hope and holders of tablets running Android 2.x and could receive Android 3.0 in the future. However, the folks at Google have been very clear in this regard, the producers of the tablets by signing a contract separate from the licensing for the Honeycomb, which do not cover and updates to this version.
Attention is directed toward the Samsung Galaxy Tab, one of the best Android tablets sold so far, but that does not meet the specifications of the hardware necessary to run the Honeycomb.
That doesn't mean that we won't see a port of hackers, who have managed to emulate the Honeycomb and on Smartphones.
