Sony Ericsson W8 Walkman first with Android officially announced



Sony Ericcson brought attention to the public a new Walkman series device, being their first model W8 multimedia device with Android operating system and will be available next month on the market.

Sony Ericsson W8 is their first Walkman phone type that runs Android, though, this phone is a Xperia X 8 colorful, with Walkman logo and nothing new under the casing.

Furthermore, it will run version 2.1 of Android Eclair, in conditions in which already pass massive to Froyo 2.2 to 2.3 Gingerbread on many terminals of the competition.

Sony Ericsson W8 has a 3 inch capacitive display with resolution of 320 x 480 pixels, 3.5 mm stereo jack, camera 3.2 MP, a tactat at 600 MHz processor, 192 MB RAM, microSD card slot, bluetooth stereo and a set of stereo MH410.

The phone will be for next month in Azure Blue Metallic variants, the Iconic Orange and Red.
