Japanese operator KDDI and Sharp have announced the second Android smartphone will be released this month. IS03 model comes with an innovative display memory and LCD TV Digital Tuner.

Sharp IS03 is a new smartphone with Android 2.1 (upgradeable to 2.2 Froyo) will be released exclusively for the telecom operator KDDI. The device is distinguished by the capacitive screen Memory type 3.5-inch LCD 960 × 640 pixels, which displays only immediate notification, the rest remain on stand-by screen for better energy management. The phone also includes a 9.6 megapixel camera with autofocus and ProPix image processor, HD video and Flash Lite 4.0.
