Palm Pre 2 - first smartphone launched from the HP takeover

After taking those from Palm, HP has launched the first phone giant under its own brand: HP Palm Pre 2, supplemented by the latest version of Web OS 2.0 operating system.

The HP's have been moving quickly, shortly after the takeover of the Palm have announced a new smartphone on the market: Palm Pre 2. The device comes with no major differences on a visual level before the first Palm Pre, but will run the new operating system Web OS 2.0 with multi-tasking and Quick Actions based interface, plus Flash Player 10.1.

Among the technical specifications Palm Pre 2 has the same 3.1 inchHVGA display with 320 x 480 pixels, covered with plastic instead of glass, a larger camera, 5 megapixels, 512 MB RAM and 16 GB internal memory, a faster processor at 1 GHz and supports quad-band GSM / EDGE and CDMA for North American version. Will be available in Europe on Friday by French operator SFR, following that at the end to get the rest of global markets.
