Sony Ericsson are the first to have opened the ball at MWC 2011 by launching three new models: Neo, Xperia Pro Xperia, Xperia Play, all with the Android operating system and photo sensor ExmorR.

Sony Ericsson Xperia PRO comes equipped with a display touchscreen 3.7 inches with resolution of 480 x 854 pixels and a 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. With the exception of the slide out Qwerty keyboard, the device seems to be a copy of the model Xperia Neo and more includes a graphic engine, a Sony Bravia camera 8 MP Exmor R with Flash LED with HD video recording, as well as a secondary camera of 2 megapixel camera. The operating system is Android 2.3. Gingerbread, supplemented by the new interface and Timescape, coming up with 320 MB internal memory, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3 g.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Play is famous for items borrowed from the PlayStation console, being the first phone in the world can run games PlayStation Certified from publishers like Sony Computer Entertainment, Electronic Arts, Gameloft or Namco.
