Huawei Ideos X5 and Ideos X6 with Android 2.2 Froyo

Huawei Ideos X5

Chinese Huawei announced the launch of two new smartphone with Android operating system. Huawei Ideos X5 and Huawei Ideos X6 will be available early next year in Hong Kong and then the rest of the world.

Huawei Ideos X5 is a smarphone with a compact design and 3.8-inch capacitive touchscreen display and runs on Android 2.2 WVGA. Froyo helped Qualcomm Snapdragon processor at 1GHz and 512 MB RAM. It also comes with a web browser with Adobe Flash 10.1. integrated slot for microSD cards of 32 GB, support for HSPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, built-in GPS receiver and a 5 megapixel camera.

Huawei Ideos X6 has a larger screen, 4.1-inch WVGA, 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash and video recording at 720p HD, GPS navigation, and microUSB port and HDMI support for HSPA, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth EDR Stereo. Otherwise, same Snapdragon 1 GHz CPU, 512 M RAM and 512 MB ROM plus microSD card slot of 32 GB.
