Dell made a surprising move the Indian market by launching two handsets ZTE rebranded as Dell XCD35 and Dell XCD28. Both runs Android 2.1 and are priced between 250 and 380 dollars.
Although it is known that those from Dell systems integrators from other manufacturers in India to launch two smartphones produced by ZTE is unusual, considering that they own the mobile phone division. Dell XCD28 and XCD35 are rebranded versions of the models and ZTE ZTE Racer Blade.
Dell XCD28 is available today in India for about $ 250 and features a 2.8 inch QVGA touchscreen display, 3G connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, FM radio, 3.2 megapixel camera and MicroSD card support. The second phone, Dell XCD35 will be released in December for 380 dollars and will come with Android 2.1, 3.5-inch WVGA display touchscreen, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3.2 MP camera with autofocus and a microSD card 16 GB.
